Its a cliché, but if you can "hang a picture", you can install an infrared heater. They really are that easy to install. Boiler replacement was never so easy!

There are so many benefits just to your building (let alone energy-saving and health benefits) that make switching to Infrared heating so compelling versus traditional heating.

You see, traditional convection heating warms the air. Warm air is damp air which then condenses on cold surfaces (such as walls, window frames and furniture). These surfaces then become prone to mildew, damp (and salt-damp in masonry). Infrared heating doesn't warm the air. It warms these objects directly, keeping them dry. Say goodbye to musty sofas, damp walls and rotten window-frames. (Maintenance schedules on old buildings was never so frequent before central heating and the damp it causes.)

Damp masonry and objects conduct heat away from the heat source. Dry masonry and objects reflect heat. So rooms and objects heat up more efficiently with Infrared.

Many other forms of heat like oil and gas boilers require insulation around the heat source and along pipes and often (like electric storage heating) behind the radiant panel (like a radiator) itself. Infrared does not require this.

Traditional heaters typically require some form of flue or chimney and some form of storage facility for their fuel. The requirement to store fuel also implies a delivery cost. Boiler, gas and oil heating replacement by infra-red eliminates these bulky, draughty, dangerous installations.

Infrared heaters carry no moving parts, unlike boilers, so there is no question of having to provide access for regular inspection. They're maintenance-free (and clean!). Redwell Infrared heaters have a component life of up to 130 years and no Redwell component has ever failed post manufacture (which started in 2000). Once it's in, it's in.

And if you have a power socket and are happy to fix the wall / ceiling fittings yourself, Infrared units are easy to install, and really require no special (i.e. expensive) expertise.

Choose Redwell Infrared, when you are looking at your current bolier replacement, gas heating replacement, oil heating replacement or other heating system replacement.
